Queen Mary educational leads joined LPS to ensure our year 8s and 9s are knowledgeable with regards to 'N2O: Know the Risks' the aim of the workshop was to raise awareness of the risk of spinal cord damage from nitrous oxide use. Nitrous oxide is an increasingly commonly used drug by young people, and the silver canisters can be seen littered all over Tower Hamlets. Queen Mary provided an interactive workshop to inform young people about the lesser-known risk of spinal cord damage, as nitrous oxide is often viewed as a harmless drug and the PC supported the workshops reminded the students about the legality about drug taking.
