LEADERSHIP TEAM

HEADTEACHER - Nick Langham 

As Head Teacher, it is my responsibility to set the strategic vision for the school. Our aim is to ensure that every student graduates with the best qualifications, purpose, self-confidence, self-belief and a readiness to play a positive role within the local and global community. I have the highest expectations of every student and adult in the school and every one of us must demonstrate and uphold our core principles; Be Professional, Be Inclusive, Be a Learner and Be Knowledgeable. Langdon Park School is a vibrant and happy community and one which I am immensely proud to serve.  I started my teaching career in 1998 and my hobbies include gardening, cooking and watching QPR

Ayesha Miah

Deputy Headteacher for responsibility for Pastoral Care and Personal Development,

As Deputy Headteacher for responsibility for Pastoral Care and Personal Development, it is my job to ensure that every student at Langdon Park feels welcome and safe, is highly ambitious with high aspirations and continues to develop and flourish. I work alongside the Heads of Years to ensure that every student meets the high expectations and standards that we have here at Langdon Park.  I started teaching in 2007 and my interests are reading, travelling, hiking, eating out and spending time with friends and family.

Bryony Warren

Assistant Head Teacher is responsible for reading strategy and KS3 QET and assessment.

I work alongside heads of departments and teachers to ensure that the Key Stage 3 curriculum is rigorous and engaging for all students. I oversee assessment at KS3, aiming to establish a system that allows students to make clear progress and to achieve their potential. I am also leading a reading strategy at Langdon Park, providing support with literacy wherever it is needed and embedding a love of reading across the curriculum.  I started my teaching career in 2014 and my hobbies and interests are reading and spending time with my family.

Ms Warren's qualifications:

  • BA University of Cambridge
  • PGCE UCL Institute of Education
  • Safeguard training to level 3

 

Liam O'Hara

 Assistant Headteacher responsible for the Student Development Curriculum.

Mr O'Hara's role is to ensure that students have access to opportunities beyond the curriculum, so that they become well-rounded and informed members of the local and global community. Mr O'Hara leads on the LPS Guarantee, which develops the students' characters, self-belief and aspirations. At Langdon Park we believe that students should not only leave with excellent academic qualifications, but an understanding of themselves and the world around them!

 

Sacha Gillin

Assistant Head teacher responsible for Sixth Form. 

Ms Gillin's role is to manage day-to-day running of the Sixth Form. Responsible for academic progress and pastoral welfare for the Sixth Form students, recruitment to the Sixth Form and the operation of the Sixth Form areas. Ms Gillin is focused on developing and maintaining an  outstanding Sixth Form experience and developing a high quality Sixth Form offer.  At Langdon Park Sixth Form, we believe it is fostering individual journeys for all our students so that they not only leave with excellent academic qualifications, but also develop holistically ready for what life has to offer.

 

Evelyn Morrison

 Assistant Headteacher - DSL and responsible for Safeguarding and Inclusion

As Assistant Head and Designated Safeguarding Lead, my role is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our students, whilst also promoting an inclusive environment. I work closely with the Head's of Year, Student Support Officers, SENCO, Parents and the wider community to help ensure students are supported when they need it. Keeping our students safe and happy in and outside school is, I believe, absolutely key to ensuring they can reach their full potential and be able to live an active, fulfilling life contributing to society. I started teaching in 2002 and outside of school I enjoy reading, gardening, and visiting new places.

Tariq Ul-Haque

 Assistant Headteacher responsible for raising standards and whole school data

As an Assistant Head Teacher responsible for raising standards and managing whole school data at Langdon Park School, my focus is on leveraging data to drive academic improvement and enhance overall performance. This involves collecting, analysing, and interpreting student performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for development. These insights allow stakeholders at Langdon Park to inform strategic planning, support targeted interventions, and refine teaching practices. At Langdon Park, we strive to improve outcomes and life opportunities for our students, using data as one of the key tools to achieve this goal.  I started my teaching career in 2009 and

my hobbies and interests are reading and boxing.

Mr Haque's qualifications:

  •  Undergraduate degree: BA Economics
  • PGCE: Business/Economics Education.
  • NPQSL and NPQML.
  • Safeguard training to level 3

 

Rabeya Islam

Assistant Headteacher responsible for CPD and curriculum leadership

We believe that all students at Langdon Park School should be given the opportunity to reach their full academic potential, and we have a commitment to providing our staff with the tools and training to make this possible. I work alongside curriculum leaders, teachers and support staff to meet their training needs so they continually improve their pedagogy and practice at all stages of their career.

My interests include travelling, cooking and collecting plants from across the world.
